Jason Milburn

Jason Milburn is the Head Instructor and General Manager with over 30 years of experience as an Equine Canada Certified Competition Coach and Licensed Coach. Jason has managed stables since the age of 18 and is passionate about equine care and nutrition. Jason is well known for his commitment to his athletes and their horses at all levels. As a coach, he continues to lead athletes to success on the Silver and Gold horse show circuits. Jason still commits time to the riding school and is a firm believer that everyone starts at the same place.

Dean Musclow

Dean Musclow is the Owner and Office Manager of Muskoka Horse Co. After leaving his career in the healthcare sector of 25 years, Dean now spends his days ensuring the barn is at its best and creating a healthy and safe atmosphere for both riders and horses. Dean prides himself on the care of the horses and maintenance of the programs at Muskoka Horse Co Inc.

Anna Milburn

Anna Milburn’s love of horses began at the early age of 3 years old. She has been riding since before she could walk, with the support of her father and coach, Jason Milburn. Anna has competed and received multiple Provincial and National Championship titles over her many years of showing personal and client horses. Anna has since become an equine professional and an Equine Canada Licensed Coach. She is currently working towards obtaining her Competition Coach status through Equine Canada. She spends her time training and showing the horses of Muskoka Horse Co.

Karen Parfitt

Karen Parfitt is an Equine Canada Registered Coach who has been in the sport for 47 years. Karen is one of our beginner lesson instructors and comes with a great deal of knowledge from her 25 years of riding and coaching in the dressage discipline. We are very fortunate that Karen is a part of our team, along with her mare 'Wavoom', who has been in our care for many years here at Muskoka Horse Co.
